Photochromic microcapsule powder (MC powder) is a photochromic powder material made by wrapping reverse photochromic dyes in microcapsules. The product improves the solubility of OP oil, allowing it to be uniformly dispersed in water-based systems. MC is white in an indoor light source environment and becomes the color of a dye under ultraviolet or sunlight. MC can be added directly to the appropriate application for use.

The average particle size of the photosensitive microcapsule powder is 3-10μm, and the water content is less than 3%. It has the characteristics of bright color, high temperature resistance, solvent resistance, etc. It can be used in plastic injection, oil-based ink and paint. Photosensitive microcapsule powder for water – and oil-based inks and coatings 3% ~ 30% w/w (25%), for plastic injection and extrusion 0.2% ~ 1% w/w (0.5%)

Attention:
1. The choice of substrate is most suitable for materials with PH value of 7~9.
2, photochromic material light fatigue is caused by excessive exposure to ultraviolet light (UV light) and high humidity, it is recommended to add light absorbers and antioxidants to increase the resistance to light fatigue.
3, the additives used in photochromic materials (antioxidants, heat stabilizers, ultraviolet (UV) absorbers and inhibitors) can improve the resistance to light fatigue, but the proportion of additives is based on the medium used, the wrong proportion will accelerate the occurrence of light fatigue.
4, photochromic materials do not contain harmful substances harmful to the human body, in line with safety toys and food packaging standards.
