Application: Cadmium red is widely used in enamel, ceramics, glass, coatings, plastics, art pigments, printing ink, paper, leather, colored sand and stone building materials and electronic materials and other industries. Except mercury cadmium red is not suitable for polycarbonate, cadmium red is suitable for almost all resins and plastics, Such as ABS plastic, polyformaldehyde, acrylic acid, amino, fluorine plastic, nylon, polyamide, polycarbonate, low density or high density polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, soft or hard PVC, phenolic, urea melamine, epoxy, polyurethane, unsaturated polyester, plexiglass, natural rubber and silicone rubber. The presence of titanium dioxide will also reduce the light resistance of the pigment. When used in polymers, cadmium pigments should be used in systems with low water absorption, because the water permeability of the medium will reduce the weather resistance of the pigment. Cadmium red durability is better than cadmium yellow, suitable for outdoor products coloring, such as automobile painting and high-grade baking paint. Cadmium red natural hardness is lower than other inorganic pigments, good friction, can be used for photogravure printing ink and PVC screen printing oil.
