Product characteristics: Cadmium yellow has excellent light resistance, heat resistance, alkali resistance, acid resistance is poor. It is also used in paint, silicate, rubber and other industries. Cadmium yellow has good abrasiveness, easy to blend with adhesives, but poor wear resistance. In the dry state, the color becomes dark after long grinding, and the discolored cadmium yellow can be restored by heat treatment. Cadmium yellow has strong coloring power, light resistance, good weather resistance, no migration, no color infiltration. Cadmium yellow is safe in tinted products because of its insolubility, but it is still a toxic pigment

Application: Cadmium yellow is widely used in enamel, glass and ceramic coloring. Also used in coatings, plastics industry, also used as electronic fluorescent materials. Cadmium yellow is suitable for coloring almost all resins and is semi-transparent in plastics. The light-colored cadmium yellow containing zinc sulfide is used in polyethylene, and the molding processing time should be shortened as much as possible, because zinc sulfide will promote the decomposition of polyethylene plastic and be green. Cadmium yellow is not as stable as cadmium red in the room, and is mostly used in indoor plastic products. Cadmium yellow should not be mixed with pigments containing copper or copper salts, so as not to generate black copper sulfide or green copper sulfate. Cadmium yellow is mixed with blue pigments to produce green.
